ASSISTANT FINANCIAL CONTROLLER – CAPE TOWN

Our client, an international hotel brand, based in the heart of Cape Town, is searching for a South African Assistant Financial Controller.
The position is live-out, based in Cape Town. The ideal candidate would have a minimum of 4 years’ working experience in this role (or similar), along with a degree/diploma in accounting, as well as practical knowledge of general hotel operations.
SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS:
A minimum of 4 years’ experience working as an assistant to the financial controller or in a similar role.
A degree or diploma in accounting from a recognised tertiary educational institution.
Practical knowledge of general hotel operations and a good knowledge base of accounting.
Experience in managing a team.
An ability to communicate with all levels of staff and service providers.
Ability to work under pressure, multitask and prioritize.
Hospitality experience advantageous, preferably in a 5-star environment.
