Group Director Of Operations - Maldives

We are seeking a Group Director of Operations to provide strategic leadership and oversee day-to-day performance across multiple properties. This role involves coordinating with General Managers to address operational challenges, formulating strategies to optimize operations, and achieving operational excellence. The successful candidate will develop and implement strategies that meet the needs of our target customers and employees while ensuring a return on investment.


Responsibilities:

Conduct regular property visits, identify necessary improvements, and maintain company assets.

Oversee property maintenance plans and ensure timely completion of work with the Engineering teams.

Monitor operational equipment and supplies, manage essential purchasing requirements in liaison with purchasing departments.

Collaborate with Quality Assurance and Learning & Development teams to enhance property standards and implement effective training programs.

Manage and potentially lead renovation projects, analyze expenses, and implement cost-saving strategies.


Requirements:

University degree or diploma in Hospitality Management.

Minimum of 3 years' experience in a similar role overseeing multiple properties.

Strong commercial and financial acumen with extensive knowledge in forecasting and budgeting.

Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.

Proven experience in leading and managing teams.

High level of analytical skills and proficiency in understanding P & L.

Flexibility, openness to ideas, and ability to work effectively at all levels of staff and management.

High energy level and motivation to achieve optimal results with extensive travel involved.
