
Support Services Manager (Executive Secretary)
Our client, a growing hotel-brand, is searching for a Support Services Manager to provide executive support to the MD, manage facilities, manage the Business Support team, manage some financial aspects and general office management duties. The position is live-out, based in Cape Town, and requires a tech-savvy and fast typing skills. Advanced MS Office knowledge and Smartsheet. Must have a drivers license, and a minimum of 5 years experience in a similar position specifically focused on Executive support. A tertiary degree or diploma and hospitality industry experience is beneficial, but not required. QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE · Grade 12 Senior Certificate · Tertiary degree or diploma in hospitality management or business administration, preferable · Minimum 5 years’ experience in a similar position specifically focused on Executive Support · Driver’s License · Hospitality industry experience beneficial, but not required SKILLS & ATTRIBUTES: · Tech-savvy and fast typing skills · Advanced level MS Office programs and Smartsheet · Excellent English written and spoken communication skills · Excellent attention to detail, organizational and analytical skills · Mature individual who can ensure confidentiality · Flexible and ability to prioritize · Ability to pre-empt a situation and take control · Problem solving and decision-making skills · Ability to work efficiently, accurately and consistently · Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines · Self-motivated and ability to work without supervision · Proactive individual who takes initiative, not confined to a job specification · Reporting and presentation skills · Honest, reliable and trustworthy · Customer service orientated · Leadership skills: ability to inspire, listen, coach and achieve results from a diverse team · Interpersonal skills : ability to develop good working relationships with a wide spectrum of people, being culturally aware and respectful · Well-groomed and presentable
